This was the most amazing little beach house. Plenty of space. 3 bedrooms plus a futon in a smaller office style room. Large lounge, great dining space plus a really well decked out kitchen. Very easy access for unloading vehicles. Great friendly hosts, really loved this wee place. Our family enjoyed our stay here. Lovely clean fresh home with excellent facilities

"Thanks for a great stay at your place in Foxton. The house was clean, tidy and warm, and having 2 decks to sit outside and enjoy the weather was a bonus. The location and close proximity to the beach was awesome!"

Nostalgic stay in an well renovated post office. They still have the old hooks for coats on the wall, lovely. The host Malyar was very helpful and friendly and really made us feel at home. Loved the windmill just across the street.

It was 200 meters from Highway one and close to the Dutch Molen restaurant and Foxtons fish and chip shop, both of them excellent. We took our fish and chips down to Foxton beach and watched the sun set. Our main like was our lovely hosts Leslie and Psul who wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory, which it was.

Clean Comfortable stay. Kids really enjoyed their sleep. Beds were perfect. Had everything we needed for our family, even had recommendations on their best fish and chips. Washer and dryer came in handy for the kids clothes.

    Beautiful accommodation, outside area with great outdoor furniture. Spa pool was amazing and stunning to sit out there and star gaze. Lots of utensils and could have invited a couple more for a BBQ. Just down the road was an eatery and bar. Very friendly and a live band. All in all just too short a time. Beach out passed the sand dunes.

    A great place to get away from it all, but with a handy...

    A great place to get away from it all, but with a handy range of small shops (and a cafe, and a restaurant) so you don't have to worry if you forget anything. The beach is great, you can walk a long way and it's safe enough to swim (although it was too late in the season for us). If you want to walk in the bush the Tararua's are not too far away. Levin has more shops, and you're not far from other towns (Foxton, Shannon) for a bit of variety. If you need heavy-duty shopping/supplies it's not far from the city of Palmerston North.

    We really only went to the beach in the evening and a walk...

    We really only went to the beach in the evening and a walk to the Four Square. Loved the beach, and the people in the Four Square were friendly. We were passing through and it was ideal for what we wanted.
