This stay far exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates heritage, character, and the chance to experience what a classic stay in the early 1900s might have felt like, elevated to modern standards.

Everything. Cottages were just perfect, each one immaculate, and atheistically appealing. Not an overcrowded stay. Stunning gardens. Spent hours photographing the flowers. Hosts were wonderful and have created a piece of paradise to share.

It was an incredible time in a very beautiful and serene place. The host was so attentive and helpful, while also allowing us absolute privacy. All the amenities were top of the line and very well thought out. Even though it was a higher cost per night we still felt like it was great value for money. After arriving we instantly changed our plans to book another night. Would 100% recommend this place to couples and people who want a destination holiday.

We are absolutely thrilled to have discovered a genuine Canadian-style Lodge here in New Zealand! The owners' idea of sharing the history of Yellowstone National Park in the United States with guests was absolutely delightful. The tranquility and beauty of the place are incredible, just like the hosts, Nick and Julie, who took the time to make us feel like we were among friends at home. The cleanliness and design of the spaces are unmatched! The breathtaking views and the vast spaces at your disposal are a real treat for the eyes. The Lodge is located within a private park, with easy walks for everyone to enjoy. The fresh air and the relaxation in front of a real Canadian fireplace complete the day perfectly. The quality/price ratio is truly lower than what the property and the owners themselves offer. A very well appointed and comfortable room in a beautiful location. This would be a great place to spend a few days. The small kitchen is very well appointed and the room is spacious and private with a deck overlooking the inlet. The bathroom is wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
