The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, the showers were hot with good water pressure. The place itself was Quirky. It was like living in a museum with a lot of interesting bric a brack about you both inside and out. We ordered dinner from the cafe downstairs and it was delicious and well priced.

Great place near Arthur’s pass. Nice room, clean and comfortable , good parking. The owners were very nice people. Good hot shower , kitchen and fridge. We had a good time and really recommend staying here.

Very unique stay in the middle of the mountains. It was certainly a small hut, which made for a fun experience as a part of our travels. The toilet is outside, but it was very clean and modern so it was not an issue for us. Check in instructions were very clear. It was interesting to be able to use the record player and the wood stove. We were lucky to have a relatively clear night which allowed us to have a great view of the stars
