Possibly a bit too 'touristy' for my liking, but I knew that would be the case. There's plenty to do here, and the iSite visitor center is a great place to start if you're unsure (including how to get around on buses if that's what you want to do).

A very busy place & back to pre-Covid levels now I would say. Restaurant prices & options are very reasonable though. A great place I feel for young adventurers who are not too concerned about the accommodation facilities.

Queenstown is an exciting place to visit especially Onsen Spa and Ayrburn which were new to us. Weather was mixed - we had 2 really sunny days but could still get around in the rain so overall a great trip. We loved the wharf and lakefront area for coffee and meals - White & Wong, Madam Woo and Saigon Kingdom Wharf, Little Blackwood for a cocktail and Odd Saint for brunch. Driving to Wanaka stopping enroute on the Crown Range, Cardrona Hotel for a drink, Tarras area on a back road. We also waited for a clear day to go up in the gondola which was amazing!

We enjoyed hiking up to the Gondola station.

We enjoyed hiking up to the Gondola station. The track is challenging but you've earned the ride down. The best meal we had was at The Cow on Cow Lane where the ambience is moody and the pasta just divine.

Queenstown is a perfect central spot for all activities you may wish to do in the area. Shopping is very touristy and exy. Beautiful views and scenery around lake. Fave places, TSS Earnslaw cruise and dinner. Gondola and luges fun. Drive to Glenorchy beautiful, found a little garden treasure at the Dream garden lodge on this drive. Nice hearty dinner at the Pog Irish pub.

Absolutely love the Naumi hotels as they have beautiful quirky decor, are exceptionally clean, have complimentary food and beverage which include local products. The happy hour is a nice treat and I enjoyed the use of the sauna. It is only a short walk to the centre of Queenstown. The bed is super comfortable, such a relaxing stay!

The bed was extremely comfortable - it's hard to get a comfy pillow when you are travelling and the ones here were exceptional. The breakfast was very good with heaps of variety. The hotel was quiet and restful. Nice position away from the centre of Queenstown, which has major traffic/parking problems due to overdevelopment.
