It has a perfect location near the Settlers museum, the Chinese Garden and the railroad station. Many good restaurants (Best Cafe is great) and there is a big grocery nearby for basic stuff. Staff were great, its a quaint big old hotel. And I could walk from the bus, NO EXPENSIVE TAXI!

Beechwood Boutique Accommodation are fabulous to holiday with. Everything is perfect, clean and comfortable and they have a laundry for your use as well. The hosts are so considerate and welcoming. It is close to the Botanical Gardens and Bird Aviary which are a must see when you visit Dunedin, especially in October/November for full on flowers. The city shops are in walking distance approximately 10 minute easy walk or bus stop close by. Thankyou kindly for making my holiday so pleasant, I enjoyed it thoroughly.
