The hostel was so clean! The beds were fresh and cozy. The upstairs lounge area has a tea & coffee station - with milk which was a lovely touch. It's right in the centre of the village too. Would definitely stay again (:

My stay in the Moa cabin was outstanding—cozy, warm in winter, and inviting. Location wise, you can easily drive across all the hotspots along Arthur's Pass. The reception was welcoming, providing clear directions. Clean shared kitchen and bathrooms made for a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

very nice little bungalow with beautiful view. especially in the morning when the sun rose and I could sit there on my bed with a coffee and just enjoy how the light was changing over the mountains. they warned of being short staffed, but i did not feel at all. neither in the restaurant for dinner, which was a real treat also.

Helen is a wonderful, welcoming host. The house is in a good location near Arthur's Pass and makes a great stop if you're driving cross country. We opted to include the dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The common area and bathroom is shared with another room/visitors and we were lucky to have very enjoyable company so it felt like reliving the old hostel days as an adult 😀
