Excellent motel in Waipukurau. Very clean, spacious room with large living area plus kitchen. Hot shower with strong water pressure. Fast wifi and a comfortable bed. The gentleman at reception was extremely considerate and gave helpful advice for my travels around New Zealand for work. Walking distance close to restaurants such as Copperpot (delicious bistro food). Hope to come back again in the future with my wife. Exceeded expectations for a motel and quite reasonably priced.

We’ve traveled a lot, Gillian and I, extensively to Europe and Asia and Africa. But that said this is probably one of the most beautiful places in the world. The cottage is both cosy and quirky and full of character and charm. It has everything you need from a cork screw to a washing machine and everything in between. Jo the host is excellent, not interfering but available if you need anything. It’s a place to curl up and read, laugh and joke over a glass of wine or go for a long walk. It’s quite remote yet good shops are only 20 minutes away. We loved all the friendly farm animals,even the cows were up for a chat. And the icing on the cake was the fresh farm eggs and cut flowers. Give me this place over a 5 star hotel any day. Jo you did a great job.

Extremely accommodating and friendly owners who have gone the extra mile to make the property welcoming comfortable. (Kristen had turned on heating to ensure the room was warm for us) Really spacious room, nicely decorated, huge TV, fully equipped kitchen with absolutely everything you need. One of the nicest places to stay.
