The room was part of a new wing great facilities & comfy bed. The restaurant is in the hotel but separately run and I would highly recommend the food here.

We are very fortunate inasmuch as we are able to travel extensively and currently live overseas. This hotel is, Hands Down, the best hotel we’ve ever used. From the second we walked in the door it was obvious the D’Urville was going to be different. I didn’t know where to look first as the decoration is so fabulous. We stayed one night only unfortunately.. our room surpassed all expectation ..then a pre dinner drink in the cocktail bar which was delicious and another visual feast ! And dinner…completely amazing food which took us to new places! Love the ambience created which I interpreted as being in a Rudyard Kipling book! I’ve run out of superlatives! Apart from the coffee the breakfast perfect … but now I’m being picky!

This apartment is superb. As soon as we walked through the door we wished we were staying longer than one night. It's very modern and stylishly furnished. The lounge seating is comfy and the Aircon was welcome on a warm evening. Everything is provided that you could need for a comfortable stay.
