Wonderful location right by the beach and a balcony looking towards the ocean. Late check in was easy. We thought one of the beds would be a pull out couch but it was actually a full on bed in the living room which was a pleasant surprise. There was enough parking.

Clean ,warm,great hot water and shower pressure.Lovely lady at the reception with excellent advice on what conditions I can expect on the drive across the mountains.She was right.Handy breakfast out at the front,restaurant next door.

everything - it was a very modern comfortable unit which provided ample room and comfort for all. the beds were very comfy and we had a lovely stay. staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Located along the coast, a 10-minute drive from Haast, Bay Road Motels is surrounded by nature. The Turnbull river being a short walk from motels.

The room was quiet, a little tight with a double bed and a single bed in each room, but reasonable, the free washing machine & dryer in the room was a real bonus, everything worked as it should, including lovely hot water in the shower and we loved the space, with 2 separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with complimentary teas and coffee. Top marks.
