Dargaville is a great town.
Dargaville is a great town. Shopping centre is reasonably comprehensive. You need to research things to do. In summer Kai Iwi lakes is a great place to visit, swim, launch your boat ( if you have one) stay in the camping ground or just pitch your own tent. There are plenty of cafes and eating establishments. Research the area and things to do in the area before you go.

We have stayed here three times and found from the greeting in the office to check out, the manager is amazing, friendly and helpful.
He upgraded us each time and the rooms were exceptional, plenty of room and a second room for my 16 year old granddaughter.
The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus and saved me time at the laundromat plus reasonable priced.
Would highly recommend staying here to everyone who visits Dargaville.

This is my fourth visit to Dargaville over the past 3 months.
Set in a central yet quiet location Rustic Rails is close to the Woolworthes supermarket, shops and eateries. Its is always spotless. The bed is comfortable and the shower has excellent pressure.
I like the additional of the small foldable seat to place your clothing or bag.

The Dargaville Motel is old school with the original furnishings and fittings. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was old but clean and serviceable. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay.
