Dargaville is a great town.
Dargaville is a great town. Shopping centre is reasonably comprehensive. You need to research things to do. In summer Kai Iwi lakes is a great place to visit, swim, launch your boat ( if you have one) stay in the camping ground or just pitch your own tent. Town with proud history, has retained many of its heritage...
Town with proud history, has retained many of its heritage buildings. Friendly locals, beautiful river views and handy compact town centre to stock up for trips to the kauri forests or to the beaches. Baylys Beach is closest (12 km) and beautifully rugged with massive dunes that go on for miles. Kai Iwi lakes is also a very nice spot (45 km away).Guest review byRachelNew Zealand

Clean, comfortable and a great shower so ideal for a good value short stay in the Dargaville area. Separate kitchen and BBQ facilities are provided and there are plenty of restaurants and a large supermarket very close by.
