This is a fantastic hotel that ticks all the boxes for comfort, customer service and a sense of luxury. The staff were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The bed was amazing and so was the shower. We also loved how the hotel was decorated; lots to see (artwork, books, etc... not your standard hotel lobby) and the location was perfect for us: short walking distance to everything in Christchurch center. In the same courtyard as the hotel you can find a wine bar which is a lovely place to spend an evening. I cannot think of a single thing that I would suggest to change in this hotel. Our stay was simply perfect.

1. The bed & pillows was exceptional comfortable. 2. The additional sink and tap together with a microoven in the room itsef (outside the toilet & shower) make it practical and convenient for making our hot drinks and getting our water supply. 3. Individual AC in good working condition which we can control the temperature in the room! 4. Strong shower and quality shower gel and body lotion. 5. The design of the toilet allows me to put my toiletries and make up easily. 6. Room service - food available even early in the morning at 2 AM! Order is just at your finger tip via the hotel's tablet. 7. The hotel restaurant food was so delicious and reasonably price! 8. All reception Staff was courteous, reliable and helpful (especiallly Natasha) who helped booked local Tours and Taxi. The recommendation to take bus to Gondola and sea side at New Brighton were wonderful. The bus stop is just 2 to 3 minutes away from the hotel.

Perfect apartment style hotel renovated without skimping. Grohe taps, Panasonic microwave, great streaming selection. I really, really loved it. Great location for my needs. A good selection of restaurants next door and others 5 mins away. Coffee at downstairs cafe was great!

Everything was great! The location is excellent, right in front of the bus stop. The service is outstanding, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the room is spacious. The bathroom is also clean and spacious, perfect for a relaxing bath. It's the best choice before departing from Christchurch Airport.

What a beautiful place! Amazing view from the room. It's very quiet and peaceful to stay here, getting completely relaxed with a great bottle of wine. The room is extremely clean and spacious. The Classic Villa was simply amazing with regards to the actual property, room, location, but without a doubt the best part is Jackie & Steve!!!! They are just absolutely awesome and I ended up extending my stay in Christchurch because I didn't want to leave. Jackie & Steve were exceptional from my check-in and each morning were kind enough to help me maximize my time in town, including sightseeing and restaurants. If I ever head back to Christchurch and I certainly hope I am able to make it back, but I will definitely book at the Classic Villa again. The building itself is wonderful, its insanely clean, the kitchen is stocked, common area is open/cozy and the location is ideal for walking to city center. I had the opportunity to spend 30+ days across Austrailia & New Zealand and the Villa was hands down my favorite stop thanks to Jackie & Steve. Thank you both for going above and beyond!
