AustraliaCute little tiny home with everything you need in a beautiful area. Had sheep right next to us and woke to the sounds of birds chirping and sheep chomping on grass. Very peaceful. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and it was very cloudy so didn’t get the star gazing I was hoping for but I imagine it would be amazing if you are lucky enough to have a clear night.

MalaysiaAbsolutely loved every bit of our stay at Bauchops Hill Farm. The cabin was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for cooking simple dinner.
It was really charming and quiet.
We booked the farm tour! Dion’s shared his knowledge of running his farm with us whilst driving us across the fast farmland. It was a really cool ride up and down the hills, meeting with the farm’s cattle along the way !

GermanyWe loved the spacious apartment/motel rooms, everything was clean and in good shape, kitchen had everything we needed. Place is probably great to see the stars as well and just a short driving distance from Lake Tekapo.
Everyone there was lovely and accommodating and we even got to hand feed the pet lambs and sheep that lived on the property and had a great chat. The dogs and cat were friendly and cuddly as well. For everyone who wants to stay in the Lake Tekapo area and loves animals this is a unique and great value for money stay!

The accommodation was clean and well equipped. You can get food there but we decided to cook our own.
A great couple of nights stay in an ideal location.

Lovely comfortable older-style motel not far out of Tekapo. Has been refurbished and had everything we needed. Shower was great & beds were very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet despite being near main road. Host was friendly & welcoming. Maybe a little small for more than 2 or 3 people or for more than a couple of nights. Travellers need to bring all food etc as no shops in settlement.

The location worked out for our travel arrangements.
The location worked out for our travel arrangements. It was different and the owners were hard working and was a good overnight stopover. A restaurant/hotel was located 6 mins up the road and a little general store across road with a bit of history and garden furniture to see.

The cabin was as described when we booked it. The Tiny Away model is great. The cabin was still quite new. The farm and valley location was lovely. Farm sheep were adjacent and and their calls provided a great soundscape, as did the wild birds. The valley location was 10k from Burkes Pass on a track. In the other direction was Mackenzie Pass with a memorial stone at the spot where James MacKenzie was arrested & escaped!

Burkes Pass Country Motel was out of the business of the Tekapo township, surrounded by farmlands, it was a quaint and cosy. The owners are beyond lovely, while the sheep and chickens add to the calm, restful atmosphere. The rooms have all you might need, excellent shower water pressure and a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy with a coffee/tea. It was an authentic New Zealand stay, true to our culture of warmth and simplicity.

Easy to collect keys with lockbox.
Host was very responsive. The house is very well maintained, clean and all heaters were working. There's beautiful view outside the house and the house is big. Kitchen was well equipped!
One thing to note is that there is no connection at Burkes Pass. We didn't face any issues as we downloaded offline maps. Location was easy to find.

The house was beautiful, peaceful and very warm. Great cooking facilities and the most comfortable beds. Staying in Burkes Pass was such a good option. We went for a walk and had dinner in Tekapo, and then saw a stunning sunset as we drove over the high country (about 20minutes) to Burkes Pass.
