Dreamed place in the middle of an awesome valley. Waking up to the chirping of birds and facing horses was incredible. The staff was very nice. Perfect place to unwind.

When we first entered we wondered ,, ok,, where have we landed?.. but we have to say,,, what a wonderful place and David and Sue gave us a moment to remember for life… absolutely lovely hosts,, so genuine warm-hearted and even that we haven’t booked dinner Sue made a wonderful dinner and together with David a magical evening… we have only superlative to say…

This older farmhouse is spacious, very comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The hosts provided complementary local produce, which felt very welcoming. There was plenty of room for family members to park. The rural outlook and views of the Rangititkei cliffs contributed to a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for outdoor activities in and around Mangaweka.

Absalutly idyllic chalet, super cosy, and had everything we needed, plus more! We had the fire on most of the time with it being winter. It gave a super cosy feel. The beds were super comfy. It's just a really well furbished and comfortable stay!!!

Host Alex was delightful. Location is stunning. The working farm aspect was novel and we enjoyed hearing the sheep occasionally through the night. The accommodation is authentic and a cool experience.
