The hotel is very beautiful, especially the garden! The pool is pleasant, the spa section is relaxing, the lounge and garden areas are great to spend time in. Staff is friendly helpful and polite. They made us feel welcomed there. Maybe the best part of our stay was the food, which is extraordinary!

Awesome location, super clean, wonderful staff and exceptional value. I loved my stay here in Pokhara. The friendly owner was fantastic providing tips, advice and stored my big luggage (FOC) whilst i went trekking mountains. The lake is a few minutes walk away and close to all restaurants, cafes, shops etc Perfect pre trek, post trek hotel

First of all it's the perfect place to relax after coming back from trekking or before going to trek. It's so close to the lake with a great view, but still quiet and peaceful. What did I like? Everything! Those views were stunning. Superb! I went all the way to Sarangkot and couldn't watch the Annapurna range, next day I watched it from my hotel balcony. Oh yes, you kust take the balcony facing the lake. Mr Durga was a great help. I was out of my ideas and he willingly came to help and arranged me a very cheap package to spend the day. Wow! I had so much fun. So many shops and restaurants. Thakali Jindabad. You can go walk by the lake or view it from the room. Coming soon again. Thanks!🙏🙏🙏

The views of the Annapurna mountain range are incredible.

The views of the Annapurna mountain range are incredible. The World Peace Pagoda and Pumdikot Shiva Statue offer amazing views over Pokhara, the only negative about both these locations is peoples complete lack of respect with garbage - so many people just chucking bottles and sweets wrappers to the side of the footpaths. Pokhara is a good starting point for hiking or if you want an easier view of the mountains the microlight and plane flights are a great (but quite pricey) option!

Pokhara is a great place to visit.

Pokhara is a great place to visit. The place is much cleaner than kathmandu. The scenery of the place is just breathtaking. I liked the lakes including phewa lake and also the mountains. As a muslim I looked for halal restaurants which was not difficult to find. It took about eight & half hours to reach pokhara from kathmandu. Yet, the journey was not tiring coz I enjoyed the sceneries of the way to pokhara. I stayed at hotel Grand Holiday which is in peaceful street. The street is indeed peaceful. There was absolute tranquility around the place which I liked very much. I will always long to be in Pokhara again.

I had four days there and used the time to hike up to...

I had four days there and used the time to hike up to hilltop temples and do some kayaking on the lake. The south side of the lake is much quieter and pleasant walking in the shade of the trees. I was shocked at the amount of litter on the lakeside path by Pokhara. It’s no worse than anywhere else in Nepal but seemed such a shame at an attractive holiday place next to a watercourse. I wish I had taken a bag and collected litter for half hour a day, odd as it would have looked.

Vibrant city - great boat trip to the Stupa, with a 1 hour...

Vibrant city - great boat trip to the Stupa, with a 1 hour steep climb rewarded with great views. Recommend Camelia Cafe for gentle relaxing vibe, good food and great service. Boomerang cafe has lovely garden seating with views of the lake, and Nepali traditional dancing at night. Try to get to a sunrise viewpoint about 30 mins taxi ride above the city.

Great, chilled out vibe at Lakeside.

Great, chilled out vibe at Lakeside. A great place to prepare for or relax from a trek. Wonderful contrast to Kathmandu. Roadhouse Pizza is incredible and there is a Spanish restaurant at the Disneyland (really) end of Lakeside that does simply wonderful food.

Pokhara is also an English speaking location. there were many cafes, accommodations, and night clubs amidst the souvenirs shops. and i must say, the local are genuinely so friendly and helpful without being pushy at all. this place has lots of potential as a tourist spot to relax and perhaps grow into a yoga hub.

The best place I stayed in Nepal! Only few minutes walking to the lakeside, the room is very spacious, quiet and the cleanest I've found during my trip. All the staff is really nice and welcoming, they really make you feel like you're at home and they also helped to book all the activities, paragliding, transportation, laundry, etc. There's also a very lovely and friendly dog named Puku. A special thanks to the manager Dilu and Kriti, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely go there if I'll go back to Pokhara!

Great Hospitality and friendly staff and owner are very humble, welcoming and extremely kind, clean and well- maintained room. Very close to lakeside. The staffs helped with trek permits local travel and tour booking (pokhara to Mustang). The hotel is very comfortable for trekkers for offering safe and convenient luggage storage. At last thanks to warm hospitality, helpfulness, and sincere service and a wonderful place to relax and feel well taken care of😍😍🙏

We had a great stay here. The hotel is very homely and charming, and the location is in my opinion one of the best locations at the lakeside in Pokhara. A bit away from the traffic of lakeside you are close to everything but can at the same time enjoy the peace and quiet combined with an amazing view of the lake. The staff were very friendly and Sanjog, the hotel manager, was extremely helpful and kind throughout the stay. Would definitly recommend staying here.

The hotel is situated far away from the touristy lakeside Pokhara. The view from the balcony or terrace is to die for. The common area of the hotel is like an artist’s gallery. Extremely courteous, helpful and friendly staff including the owner of the hotel, who is more of an artist than a businessman. Breakfast was healthy and very good. We had a wonderful time, felt more like a home stay than a hotel.

My parents and I really enjoyed our stay at Nepali Cottage Guest House. The place is peaceful, the garden is lovely, and the rooms are clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the location is great, close to Lakeside but still quiet. A perfect spot to relax in Pokhara!
