Not a lot of tourists spend time in Nuwakot, while the area is well worth visiting. This hotel seems to cater to businesses and NGOs. Room was cozy, spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Best part is the garden with river views, where you can enjoy the breakfast and the food of the excellent restaurant.

Everything !! The Famous farm is one of the best travel secrets in Nepal. If your looking for a recovery spot after a trek or just time away . We stayed 3 nights and it was worth it. The staff sure do know how to make your stay very special. From the paddock to the plate , the chef sure does know how to cook. Nepali - anything you like . The village just down the road along with the people will remain in my heart for the rest of my life 💕

Nice hotel! The room was clean and comfortable. The food was also delicious and served in good quantity. People were very welcoming and they even helped us to book a bus ! I would recommend staying here if you come to the area.

I really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment at Hotel Monalisa. The natural views from the balcony and windows were stunning and made the stay even more relaxing. For a 5-star and IHG-branded hotel, this place really needs renovation. It doesn't look or feel like a 5-star hotel. The staff were generally polite, but our first experience at the restaurant was very disappointing. The food wasn’t good, and we were even served raw chicken dumplings, which we only noticed after eating. This kind of mistake is serious and shows the hotel needs to improve, especially since it's an IHG property. the restaurant staff member was so sweet that we couldn’t even be upset. Even with these issues, I would still give a better rating because of some amazing staff. There was one chef (I didn’t catch his name) who really impressed me. I asked for cheese, and even though they said there was no cheese station, he later brought me some anyway. That kind of thoughtful service really means a lot. The rest of the restaurant team were also kind and helpful. They also gave us a free room upgrade and a late check-out, which we really appreciated. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs some upgrades and better-quality control to meet true 5-star and IHG standards.

Location excellent. Initially we had some disturbing noise, whole night ,which was amply rectified by upgrading to higher room, additional free airport drop and heavily discounted car for city site seeing .
