Staff messaged me on WhatsApp shortly after booking to arrange a free pick up from the bus station. On arrival myself and another guest got a free guided tour around the village and into the national park where we saw wild rhinos, monkeys and deers. I booked the jeep safari, canoe trip and the one day trekking. I recommend the trekking as we saw more wild rhinos then the jeep safari. The staff are very attentive who will look after you and have a budget list of all the different activities available. I ended up having all my meals at the restaurant as they were very tasty. The hotel is located about a ten minute walk from the main high street so is nice and peaceful in the evening. On departing the staff organised my bus ticket and I got a free drop off at the bus station.

Nice accomodation for a very good price. Near the river, where you can spot crocodiles, rhinos and other animals. Suraj arranges a program for you that fits your wishes so that you can get the most from your stay. I can really recommend the boat trip followed by a jungle walk, where you can spot a lot of animals!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but if you’re looking to share some truly special moments with a warm and welcoming Nepali family, this is the perfect place. Sit around the table, watch the kids do their homework, ask for a little local music demo (they might even let you join in!). They’ll happily welcome you into their daily life. We had a great time at hippie colony! Raj is super nice and accommodating. He helped us get tickets for the Tharu cultural show. The pool and outside area are great! And you can ask for AC in your room.
