Great homestay with a lovely family! We enjoyed Nimas and Mumas great cooking every evening, always freshly prepared with seasonal vegetables. It was the best Dal Bhat we had in Nepal! The rooms are clean and spacious. As we were volunteering at a a nearby school, we stayed for 5 weeks and loved sharing precious moments with Nima and her family, for example celebrating Tihar or cooking together. Thank you for making us feel at home and very welcomed!

Sacred Trails homestay is a strongly suggested homestay in Budhanilkantha, located on a hill is just 10 minutes taxi from everywhere, the staff is the kindest ever, the owner Mr Giri is ALWAYS helpful and provide all your needs. Comfort of home, beautiful scenic views and Nepali hospitality all fused together to make Prakriti what it is. It not just a resort, it is an experience. For a long time I had been wanting to take a vacation that feels right to me, allowing me to build a deeper connection with people and the earth, and do so in a sustainable way that does not harm the ecology. I randomly saw a YouTube video about Prakriti and within the same month I was packing my things and flying to Nepal because I needed to see this for myself. While it was as beautiful and serene as I had hoped, the experience was beyond my expectations in some ways. No camera can capture the peaceful night as you are looking down into the valley and a mystical red moon rises from above the hills. No video can capture the beauty of the prayer flags flapping in winds. No review can fully convey the taste of food, made with care and healthy goods. I guess you have to see it yourself to believe it. The peace I felt atop this hill was incomparable. I hiked up to Dhaap Dam and down to Haibung village during day times. These were some of the most interesting (very solitary) hikes I have been on. Sometimes not a soul in sight for miles. Just you, your questions. Perfect place to have a conversation with the divine, right? This is the gift of Prakriti that I will always truly appreciate. Staying at Prakriti, it felt like being at home with family. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Prem ji and others go out of their way to ensure your comfort and ease. One of the main owners himself drove me on the atrocious path up the hills to reach the resort. On the way we found a stranded family whose car broke down. So we gave them a lift up to the resort. This is how community takes care of each other. Not seeing humans as business opportunities but as people who you care for and build meaningful relationships with. At Prakriti, they give you the whole tour and explain everything.

Would love to rate 11 out of 10 if I could. Wonderful hotel in a central location. The place is pretty new, super clean and very well looked after. Fantastic food and coffee. All of the staff was very kind, helpful and made me feel welcome throughout the stay. Special shout out to Rudra and Yadap for your outstanding hospitality. Hope to be back one day

Nice clean Hotel in Thamel with all the Trekkers Shops, Money Changers and Restaurants around. The Hotel pick-up as well the staff is great.👍😍We had a great warm welcome at the Reception from Lady Laxmi which showed us also the room. The Owner or Manager was also very helpful with organizing trips or information. Food we also can recommend. At the Looby or the Roof Top Restaurant...the male staff was amazing friendly and served us like kings..thanks to ALL of them. Wifi & TV is also working...we stayed before EBC TREK and afterwards each time 4nights and we come back again in September 2024👍😍..René and Liz at IG: @renepeter57

Great place and Super centrally located right in busy Thamel, but in a quiet street. The hotel is truly a hidden gem and although we are right in the center of town, the small lovely garden next to the restaurant, a five star breakfast that is included and the super serviceminded hotel staff makes it a memorable stay at Hotel Jampa. The rooms are great abnd has all the amenities one could wish for, well furnished and there is a new, fully modernised wing. Overall it is incredible that the hotel can offer this much value for money,. and I will definately return to Hotel Jampa on my next visit to Kathmandu.
