The food was excellent - so fresh and beautifully presented - we were 8 vegetarians - all left very pleased! Best food in fiaerland! Staff was great! And amazing ambiance - the location was incredible - so beautiful! A must do is the floating sauna nearby

First, its location is fantastic by sitting right at the entrance of the Briksdalsbre trail. For nature lover it's unbeatable with sights of glacier, waterfall, forest and mountain. The cabin we stayed at bodes well with the environment, with all the modern comforts needed, like bedroom, kitchen, sitting room, cooking facilities, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money too.

Everything was really clean and the housing was nice, also in a really beautiful place. Hosts were very lovely and careful, even gave us helpful information about the local situation.

Wow, what a characterful and historic place! We really enjoyed our stay. The views from our balcony (& big windows in the room) towards the fjord were lovely. Breakfast was very good. We can recommend the nearby cafe (also run by the hotel), where we had delicious afternoon tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and also an excellent evening meal of Thai curry! The hotel has only recently been taken over by a new owner and new staff & we wish them all the best. They were so friendly and gave us lots of helpful information about the area, and also about Norwegian life.

Overlooking the Luster Fjord and Feigum Waterfall, this waterfront inn is 30 minutes’ drive from Sogndal. It provides free WiFi and a surrounding garden with outdoor seating and a playground.

The view and the staff were amazing… I was blown away when the chef came out and personally informed me about the dishes that were to be prepared and served for dinner! He even recommended the different wines that pair nicely with each dish. It was a very intimate and comfortable place to stay. Made to feel very special!
