Very picturesque island, two days is more than enough to...

Very picturesque island, two days is more than enough to explore it. Sunshine is a rarity. End of season mid August. Place for camper vans to park. One shop and one cafe. You can buy only beer in a shop, no alcohol. For a harder spirits you need to travel to Tromso. Bring your food if you can, shops sells very simple and not very good staff. More or less decent meal you can have in an arctic hotel, which is pricey and just ok, no more, choice is limited.

Amazing sea houses with sea view, own sauna, nice staff at the hotel. The best was LUKASS, very helpful, he recommended us the best places to observe the aurora borealis, excellent tips in the area. He was very helpful, friendly, wanted us to feel the best and the stay was flawless thanks to him. We look forward to our next visit. I recommend 10+

Location of the sea house was amazing - incredible views and so close to beach. Private sauna in house was great, as well as use of the hotel one Master bed was very comfy and the views of the sea were stunning Kettle and toaster provided - rare in Norway! Decking space was great The fish soup in the restaurant was delicious

Located right on a beach in Sommarøy. The Host Olivier was a great host and great company if your looking for it. It is a well organised community lodge with great facilities everything you need. I would love to come back again!
