We were staying there only for one night and are very pleased with our stay there! 😊 Can highly recommend it- good value for money! Very freshly renovated house which has been painted over in white and light green colour, new wooden floor, a bunk bed for 3 people! Fresh bedding and matrases (bring your own bedding as we had our own and we are unsure if they provide for the extra charge, probably they do as camping is on a relatively high level), a kitchen table with 3 chairs, a kitchenette has everything to cook your own food, small fridge, cattle, dishes, two windows which is fantastic to have in a hot summer day, huge porch towards sun all the day - has three chairs with a table but would even fit in sun chairs. Parking is available directly near the house. Common toilets, shower and a bigger kitchen are available and are equipped with everything, fresh and clean. For the shower you need coins of 10 krona which run shower for 6 mins. Two shower cabins for women and two for men. We never experienced a queue. We have only good experience with this camping and can highly recommend it! ♥️

We liked everything - the hotel consists of beautiful wooden houses, which have roofs covered with grass, the rooms are extremely luxurious, but with the preservation of the traditional Norwegian character. We had a view of the beautiful fjord and garden. The food was great and the staff was extremely caring. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful hotels in Norway, our top hotel in the land of the Norwegian fjords.

I had an unforgettable weekend at this countryside house. The combination of beautiful surroundings, a cozy atmosphere, delicious home-cooked meals, and the warmth of the hosts made this a weekend to remember. What made this stay so special was how it felt like visiting good friends. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the inviting and carefully decorated space - every corner felt cozy and full of charm. The hospitality of the hosts, a lovely couple, was outstanding. They prepared both breakfast and dinner, and we shared these meals together, talking and enjoying the food made with love. Their recommendations for hikes and viewpoints helped make my weekend both relaxing and fulfilling.

Near to supermarket/ some takeaway Thai food and lots of utensils/ etc, host is staying downstairs so always willing to help when needed and the driveway was clear of snow. Really appreciate Rita and her family’s hospitality 😊👍🏼 oh not to forget their friendly dog 😉

The place is in wonderful location, with amazing view over the fiord. The cabin is very well maintained and clean, with all facilities needed. Everything you need to feel like at home is there - a fridge, hotplate, oven, silverware etc. The main house has two bedrooms, one with large bed, second one with two smaller beds for the kids. There is also an additional smaller cabin with a bed for two more people. The hosts were very helpful and were waiting for us on our arrival, so we didn't have any problems with getting the keys.

If I could rate this place 13 out of 10, I would. It exceeded our expectations with all the little touches and generous, thoughtful things and amenities provided. This is a WONDERFUL place to stay if you are visiting Alesund with your own transport on wheels. They provided netflix as well!
