Great wellness centre. Hotel is super clean. Comfortable beds. We were upgraded to apartment which is highly recommended and it had everything needs. Best breakfast I've eaten in all my stays in hotels. Friendly staff. Great location.

Just exquisite! The hotel is currently celebrating its 150th year🥳🎂🎉 In the best location looking at the sea. Step outside and you are in the heart of this picturesque town. The hotel is like being in a private club. Immaculately clean. Wait until you see how the breakfast is presented it is exceptional and delicious.     As a more traditional inn style accommodation, Grimstad Vertshus combines rooms with a restaurant. The sprawling property occupies several interconnected buildings, with signs of a long history of hosting guests. My room was easily accessible on the ground floor, with a large bathroom and plenty of space to relax. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, and the personal was very friendly and welcoming.

    I cannot recommend this place enough. The guesthouse is meticulously kept in an historic building in the center of Grimstad. The rooms are very quiet, beds great as is the private bathrooms and the kitchen that you have access to. Last, but not least, this place is run by a very caring and sweet couple that helps you out in every way. It was a treat staying here!
