This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

Zugang war mittels PIN jederzeit mgl. Haus liegt direkt am Wasser mit fantastischem Blick auf den Fjord. We didn't get to hike on the ice, you gotta book a tour in advance for that, but the area is beautiful and we got very close to the glacier at the Nigardsbreen (1h drive). Also check out the Viking Church in Ornes (30min drive) and start early to reserve some time to explore the waterfalls on the way! We extended our stay and got a better deal at the property than at this site. We didn't catch any fish, despite our efforts every evening - it was just too early in the season and the waters too cold, they said.

It was really a stunning place with excellent view to the fjord. The cabin we rented was perfect for the four of us, we could sit outside and enjoy the view during our dinner. The receptionist was really kind and helpful, they made delicious pizza for us (because it was a national holiday and everything was closed).

The place had two beds, albeit very narrow ones, a shower, a kettle and a heater to dry our clothes. We had what we needed but nothing much else. However, in the area, it was a reasonable price for crashing for the night.

We stayed 3 nights in a Hytter. The camping is nice and quiet, there is a playground for kids. The Hytter was quite big, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the small terrace for dinners. We had breakfast a the restaurant one morning, it was GREAT, best breakfast we had in Norway and very good value for money. We should have done it every morning ! Supermarket very close if you cook your own dinner

The small house was perfect as well as the location. It was easy to check in and out. The apartment was well equipped and cosy. Highly recommended.
