This turned out to be the best place my family had, as we travelled 5000km across Norway and Sweden. - largely because of the wonderful host, Øyvind. He arranged a wonderful kayaking session in the fjord right in front of the basecamp, pointed us to beautiful sites around the area (waterfall, bathing area, dam), and guided us on the Svartisen glacier hike. Øyvind was very helpful, supportive and professional. Though Glonfjord is not as well-known as other fjords north and south of it, Øyvind had made this place very very special.

This place is an incredible bargain (even by non-norwegian standards !) : excellent room with a lot of space, very large and very usable communal kitchen, extremely friendly host who came at 1.30 in the morning to give us the keys (we knew we would be late because of a ferry). It's easy to find and conveniently placed. Awesome

Large comfortable rooms with an excellent breakfast. Also friendly gentleman on Reception even though we did not arrive until 11pm.
