Loved our stay there. The man at the reception was very welcoming, our cottage had a kitchen and bathroom, which was amazing in rainy days. The small kitchen also had a coffee machine and a fridge. We had everything that we needed. Recommendable.

The location was great. Easy walk with luggage to the train/bus station, easy walk to the pier and the gondola ride to the tip of the mountain lookout, on street parking (free overnight, paid during the day)(easy pay app). Access to the washing machine and dryer downstairs, Small but clean, well equipped, shared kitchen. Instructions to access the rooms, behind the hairdresser, using key box were easy to follow. Great value compared to other places we have stayed in Norway. Suited us really well as a base to get out and enjoy the area.

The breakfast was one of the best we had in Norway with very personal service. The table was ready for us with a variety of choices (not a buffet). The atmosphere of the entire property was quiet and relaxing; it felt very homey and welcoming. Finally, the staff was incredible and went out of their way to make sure there were options for my husband with some dietary restrictions. The dinner was excellent and we loved sitting and visiting with people from other parts of the world!
