Eidfjord is a really beautiful city.

Eidfjord is a really beautiful city. We enjoyed every moment there with those landscapes. Mountains, river and sandbeach will give you more relaxiation. You will have everything that will need for your stay. There is a small supermarket as well though we didn't think about the price ;-)

Eidfjord is a very practical location since from there is...

Eidfjord is a very practical location since from there is access to many activities and visits that I would recommend such as Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen, Norsk Natursenter - Hardanger and a lot of sensational excursions. Apart from that you have Hardangerfjord, the Ulvik/Voss area, Hardangervidda just a few kilometers away by car. And the town is small, quiet and charming.

Eidfjors is an idyllic place with many things to do or enjoy...

Eidfjors is an idyllic place with many things to do or enjoy. As main attractions you have the waterfall of Vøringsfossen, the norwegian nature center museum and the farms and views of Kjeåsen. Apart from that, other spectacular waterfalls and fantastic hikes. It is also a good place to relax and do nothing.

Nothing more to say that if you come in Norway, you HAVE TO go in this place. I could write a lot, as we truly lived our experience. In some word : - authentic place, you fill in the XIX century, with very nice and cosy ambiance - location is just amazing - views are unforgettable - service is perfect - restaurant is not only excellent, but it is in a ballet room that did not change since its creation - rooms are simple but well furnished and clean If you look for authentic places, that you will remember all your life, this is the place

Beautiful updated family room with a beautiful view of the Eidfjord. Very comfortable beds. Dog friendly. Nice bar with a garden and view to the fjord. Nice tasty breakfast in the hotell restaurant with nice decor and nice view of the beautiful fjord. Close to a beach and in the charming little town center. Nice little walking path along the water and the river, great for the dog. Just 15 min drive to the beautiful Vøringsfossen.

Really nice guesthouse with small but charming rooms and a large bathroom. Beautiful spot at the Hardangerfjord, beautiful view, nice restaurant and an amazing bakery in the house. Breakfast is also very good with a really nice view on the fjord.

Somewhat quirky accommodation. We stayed in a twin room with shared bathroom (which was just across the passage, and very neat and clean). Beds comfy although soft (seems to be the norm in Norway). Breakfast was a very nice and hearty buffet.
