The service was excellent, as was the breakfast. The room was large with a comfortable bed and a great shower. We only stayed one night, but next time we would love to stay longer. We cannot comment on the restaurant, as it was closed on the day in question.

Frederiksoord and its surroundings are now a UNESCO World...

Frederiksoord and its surroundings are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's worth visiting and cycling. Hiking in the Doldersummerveld is highly recommended. Enjoy delicious tapas at Casa Maya in Diverbrug.

Rural town for groceries and such.

Rural town for groceries and such. You had to go to Diever or Vledder, but that's only a 5-minute drive and could even be done on foot. A good base for walking, cycling, or sightseeing.
