The room was luxurious, had the loft. Bed very nice. I liked sitting outside the house on the seats provided and following the busy life by the sluice, best seating in town and I could go round the corner and buy a pint of local beer from the local brewery and bring it back to my seat. Love the town.

The building and rooms look very new, and the room itself is quite spacious. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were very friendly. Since we have different sleeping habits, they even provided us with an extra single duvet, which was very thoughtful. We arrived very late It was a tough day ! The car broke down and the sim card does not work great travel to be away from the real world 😂 however we would say that Hotel Van Saaze makes everything smooth. We thought we wont have the key to enter as it was super late and we notify the hotel with late notice. However they prepared the key in the box and just called them on an emergency number, they are on it right away to assist you! Late check in is okay. With such a tiring long day we rested super well in this hotel. My husband says they have the best comfy bed ever! yes! we booked a comfy room and it was really comfy!! with the best bed quality! The room was super clean and you got everything you needed with an amazing atmosphere and was very peaceful. Thumbs up Hotel Van Saanze. Highly recommended for someone who loves tranquility and cares about resting well before the big day the day after!

We visited only for a weekend. Very nice city. Surrouned by atractions we wanted to see. We vistites nearby Giethoorn for a day. We have been too a local reaturant, that we liked. The streets in Blokzijl are quite narrow, but we had no issue with that. We very much enjoyed our stay in Blokzijl.

We received a warm welcome when we arrived, and were shown to our rooms. We were also given information regarding breakfast and asked if we would require evening dinner. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and i had a nice view from my window. The bed was comfortable and as there was very little noise outside, i had a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay and i would recommend this hotel.

Friendly service, simple but nicely decorated room, comfortable. We had a dinner in nearby Blokzijl and decided to spend the night here, just a very short drive away (could also bike or take a longer walk). The surroundings were lovely! Peaceful green and water. Would be a great place to rent a boat. We reserved breakfast onsite which was alright - some standard continental breakfast type offerings.

Beautiful location. Friendly and helpful hosts, dinner and breakfast delicious. Higgly recommend dinner in the restaurant. Very comfortable beds. We planned a day in nearby Geithoorn but were very happy we stayed in Blokzijl as it was a beautiful town well worth exploring. We had a lovely view of the old church from our room.

Very cute hotel, in a great location in the village. It's fun to watch the boats go through, and you'll have lots of people talking to you when you're outside. Easy walk to some restaurants as well. The staff that let us in to the room was very friendly and helpful.
