The room was luxurious, had the loft. Bed very nice. I liked sitting outside the house on the seats provided and following the busy life by the sluice, best seating in town and I could go round the corner and buy a pint of local beer from the local brewery and bring it back to my seat. Love the town.

We visited only for a weekend. Very nice city.

We visited only for a weekend. Very nice city. Surrouned by atractions we wanted to see. We vistites nearby Giethoorn for a day. We have been too a local reaturant, that we liked. The streets in Blokzijl are quite narrow, but we had no issue with that. We very much enjoyed our stay in Blokzijl.

It's a beautiful village in a fantastic setting.

It's a beautiful village in a fantastic setting. From here, you can explore the beautiful surroundings. In the village itself, you'll find nice restaurants, a few shops, and basically everything you need. There's also a lovely harbor, and everything looks well-maintained.

A picturesque village where friendliness reigns supreme. A charming lock and excellent terraces for enjoying the view. There are also several excellent restaurants, of which Kaatje bij de Sluis is a particular highlight.

It's such a holiday feeling when you drive into Blokzijl,...

It's such a holiday feeling when you drive into Blokzijl, and I'd even recommend Yep bij de luis to newlyweds. It couldn't be more romantic. You hear the birds and the water flowing from the lock. The hospitality of the B&B staff. Such a warm welcome. Everything in one sentence. A warm blanket!!!

Blokzijl is a small, charming village.

Blokzijl is a small, charming village. It's crisscrossed and surrounded by water and has a harbor right in the center, accessible from one side via a small lock. There are several restaurants and a Coop supermarket. Some of the houses date back to the 16th or 17th century. The village has a certain flair. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling.

Blokzijl is a small town where you can leisurely stroll along the harbor or watch the boats passing through the lock. There are several places where you can eat well, and even in the off-season, that's no problem.

We received a warm welcome when we arrived, and were shown to our rooms. We were also given information regarding breakfast and asked if we would require evening dinner. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and i had a nice view from my window. The bed was comfortable and as there was very little noise outside, i had a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay and i would recommend this hotel.

Situated near Giethoorn, the place is ideal for a weekend holiday. The B&B is very charming, and the room we had was spacious and well designed. The Afrika theme is a plus point, and makes for a very unique, memorable experience. It’s not your average hotel room. The breakfast was also delicious and generous. The staff was friendly and relaxed.

Beautiful location. Friendly and helpful hosts, dinner and breakfast delicious. Higgly recommend dinner in the restaurant. Very comfortable beds. We planned a day in nearby Geithoorn but were very happy we stayed in Blokzijl as it was a beautiful town well worth exploring. We had a lovely view of the old church from our room.

Very cute hotel, in a great location in the village. It's fun to watch the boats go through, and you'll have lots of people talking to you when you're outside. Easy walk to some restaurants as well. The staff that let us in to the room was very friendly and helpful.
