The hotel is gorgeous, especially the gardens and pool area. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and helped me feel well taken care of. The breakfast was delicious and there were a variety of items.

This is a beautiful place to stay, a serene location in the heart of a little town. A tasty breakfast was included which was a nice surprise. The hosts gave me some good information to help with my stay.

It's a perfect place to relax. Situated directly at the lake you'll just grab your towel in the morning and go for a swim. You could just relax in one of the hammocks as well or grab a kayak which is included in the dorm price. People working here are super friendly and speak quite good English as well. Dorms are spacious with a big ceiling fan. Every bed itself has a little locker, lamp and fan. Bathroom with cold shower but due to the daily heat that's been alright. Breakfast (pancakes with fruit) is included for the dorm rooms. They offer lunch buffet and feature a bar. For one dollar you could get food delivered for dinner from the neighbouring hostel Paradiso as they do have an agreement with their kitchen. You can use the communal kitchen and cook yourself. If you wanna do that come prepared and bring your food as the next real shop with fruit and veggies is a taxi ride away. They do offer a meet and greet dinner with a set dish during the week for bout 8,50$ (7,50$ veggi) which is a great way to get to know the others staying here and the only food they offer for dinner.

I didn't like it at all. It was the most expensive hotel I paid in Nicaragua, and it has the poorest service. The price did not go according to the facilities and customer service.

We had a great stay at Casa Bubu with Yves, the owner, who alongside his staff went above and beyond to make sure our every need was exceeded. Wholesome full breakfasts, working AC, hot water, refreshing clean pool, comfortable bed, laundry service, welcome treats and drink…to name a few of the things that set Bubu above the rest. Lovely atmosphere, tasteful decor, beautiful architecture and design. Great spot to rest, refresh, hike and explore the city on your doorstep. We will certainly be back if we find ourselves traveling in Nica again. Already missing Gref! (the aqua cat)
