While not far from the city, this peaceful setting surrounded by Kalahari bush is perfect for relaxing. The facilities are beautifully maintained and the design of the rooms is impressive. I can't recommend the breakfast enough, specially try the scrambled eggs. Cecilia took care of us and made sure we arrived safely to our next destination. Watching the wildlife walking just outside of the lodge at sunset was calming as well as opening the curtains at sunrise while having french press coffee in bed on a chill morning.

I had such a fabulous stay at Blue Olive. There is lots of open seating outside the room with palm trees, for those that love the outdoors. I enjoyed a beautifully relaxing swim on the first day. And, you are treated to a special breakfast each morning. Absolute value for money. I think I found a new home in Gobabis! I highly recommend Blue Olive :).
