Cabana Campsite has arguably the tastiest cuisine on the island. I had Bandung-style flat and cashew chicken, other than several types of Nasi Goreng. Fresh ingredients accompanied by an awesome atmosphere: dining with your feet in the sand, cuddled by a refreshing sea breeze while listening to the sound of the waves washing ashore is something you can't easily forget.

We had a fantastic stay at Perhentian Najmi Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Don’t expect luxury or fancy extras — but you’ll get everything you need for a great island stay. For the Perhentians, this is exactly the kind of no-fuss, reliable accommodation you want. The room was spotless, everything worked as it should, and there’s even a small terrace area where you can hang your clothes — always a big plus on a beach holiday. One of the biggest advantages is the location. Being in the village means you have easy access to food and several local restaurants, which is super convenient. We stayed for a full week and truly enjoyed every moment. I’d definitely come back again without hesitation.
