From the stunning beaches like Tip of Borneo, where the South China Sea meets the Sulu Sea in a breathtaking convergence, to the lush greenery of the countryside, Kudat paints a picture of serenity and raw beauty. The local culture and traditions are woven intricately into the fabric of everyday life. Exploring the Rungus Longhouses was a highlight, providing a glimpse into the indigenous way of life, adorned with vibrant traditions and warm hospitality. Location and accommodation is not probably not to everyone...

Location and accommodation is not probably not to everyone liking. If you like unpolished and very basic right at the sea than this can be your place to chill out. Tides over here are somewhere between 1,5-2 meters.

Apart from the tip of borneo, nothing much to do.

Apart from the tip of borneo, nothing much to do. Beach will not be so beautiful during Dec as the weather is bad. All the beautiful beach and blue water that you see in pictures do not apply if there is a tropical storm at the area. The Kudat down is boring and not as I have imagined. Tip, only go during good weather when the sea is calmer.

The friendly people, the sandy beaches and the coconut trees...

The friendly people, the sandy beaches and the coconut trees everywhere give Kudat district a special, relaxed, holiday feel, distinct from the rest of the west coast of Sabah. The Tip of Borneo is the focal point for beach goers, with its white sands and clear water, but any drive provides interesting insights into the local ways of life.

Very good place in front of the see in small village near to town of Kudat. Very helpful stuff. Host as well as all others. Also very tasty food like lunch and dinner provided (for extra money) The owner Jumaidi was always helpful. He is very friendly. He also helped us to arrange transport to Kinabalu park and he also solved our issue with next hop accommodation we had. I can only recommend if you prefer the homestays on the places like this instead of hotel or luxury residence.

This place is in a beautiful coastal village is out of the way, which is great! 15 minute drive to kudat, 20 minutes from the tip of borneo. The accommodation is simple, but for the price it's great. The host, Jair, is incredibly helpful and can arrange for meals cooked in the homestay for 15rm each.

Looked great online with reviews. Was so excited to stay, however not only is it on a different island to Kudat (that is not stipulated any where) so a 1.5hr ferry’s ride then a 2hr car journey

The staff hospitality is acceptable & nice. The hotel location is surround with Chinese restaurant food, 99 Speedmart, laundry and nearest to town. Parking space is free & open.

Great location, very friendly staff, we stayed twice and each time we had a room on the harbour side so had great views. Would recommend this as the best place to stay in Kudat.
