This is a beautiful area to discover a part of the outskirts Oaxaca and its culture. However, come prepared with a purpose of how you want to explore the area or be ready to enjoy the surroundings and relax. There is not much available in terms of resources to point you to things to do once you are here if you are just looking to show up in the area and explore. In that case, it is better to take a tour from Oaxaca city. I loved it and will come again to explore other parts for its beauty and micro culture.

The city is charming with lots of impressive Streetart and Murals , you find excellent Food of all sort and the Handcrafts you encounter everywhere are absolutely stunning and many is local production . Mezcal seems there an alchemystic masterpiece , they produce sure some excellent booze of highest standart. The Night belongs to the straying Streetdogs , that was partially a turnoff. The Ruins themselves wellllllll , the Atmosphere is missing , still its unique in its way and there is also other lovely spots if you take your time to explore , it felt also supersave and not dodgy nor boring .Still the Santa Maria del Tule we liked more . Ouw there is some Crepes Store , wich was not from this world --- Munchis Heaven .

Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect. I loved Mitla - such a cute little town with the most perfect sunset and some great food options. Hierve El Agua was absolutely worth the visit but try to go as early as possible. I was wandering around and admiring the landscape a lot and also went swimming.
