Awesome hostel - it’s in such a nice location and only a short walk from all the museums and centre. The beds were comfy and the dorm room felt very private. Showers and water pressure were the best we’d had in 3 months in Mexico. Would 100% stay again.

The hotel just opened and everything is very new. The rooms are very large in size with comfortable beds. The restaurant on the top floor has a great view on Puebla. The breakfast buffet was a combination of traditional Mexican dishes, cold cuts, fruits and cereals.

    The Poblanos are lovely - very friendly and helpful. The city is super clean. We felt safe the whole time. The historic district is the place to stay. Very central to most everything. Be sure to ride the city tour bus, go to Cholula, and defnitely Val Quimico. Book at least 5 days there's so much to see and many magic towns in the area to visit

    Such a beautiful city with colonial as well as art deco architecture in the central historic district. If you enjoy visiting churches, this is definitely the place for you! Over 70 in the historic district alone and hundreds more city wide. Many of the historic center streets are pedestrian only and are lined with food and craft vendors. The city itself is mostly flat which helps with the 7000+ foot altitude. I was able to enjoy several of the museums - make sure you check out the Museo Amparo's rooftop views! Puebla is where the battle of Cinco de Mayo started and the city does a great job of designating landmarks and installing placards (almost all in Spanish) to tell the stories.

    Puebla has invested a lot in the revival of downtown.

    Puebla has invested a lot in the revival of downtown. Everywhere you go these days you will find a new hotel, a new restaurant, a new gut rehab building that has been beautifully restored. Food is superb and you can get decent prices for Talavera

    Worth a one-day visit.

    Worth a one-day visit. I really liked the colors of the buildings, quite unique. Also, all the restaurants we went to very quite nice... very nice decor, super professional and well-trained staff and tasty food.

    Lovely, historic city. Home of Cinco de Mayo!!

    Lovely, historic city. Home of Cinco de Mayo!! Conveniently located to Mexico City - I took a bus from Puebla directly to the Benito Juarez Airport in Mexico City - $25 US - 2 hours. Beautiful, historic churches in Puebla - be sure to take a walking tour of the city and a tour of Cholula and Atlixco (actually seemed to be suburbs of Puebla but it was a 7 hour tour). Tourist office is SO helpful & is located on the zocalo. Zocalo is lined with outdoor restaurants. Shopping (craft/locally made goods) is a few blocks from the zocalo.

    Puebla is truly one of the most beautiful and enchanting cities I’ve ever visited. From the moment you arrive, you're surrounded by stunning colonial architecture, vibrant streets, and a rich cultural atmosphere that is both welcoming and inspiring. What I love most about Puebla is how it blends history and modern life so seamlessly. You can stroll through the historic center, admire beautifully tiled buildings, visit awe-inspiring churches like the Puebla Cathedral, and then stop for a delicious meal at one of its many outstanding restaurants. The food here is unforgettable — full of flavor, tradition, and soul. The city also has a peaceful, elegant rhythm. It’s lively but never overwhelming.     It's a beautiful hotel and we had a nice balcony room. The attention to detail was impeccable and the staff always courteous and kind. They did their best to make our stay unforgettable. Very clean room and the house keeper went out of her way to make the room look the best. Spacious room, huge comfortable bed, great hot water pressure, clean towels. Always provided us with a bottle of water each. Hotel is located around 7minsc walk from zocalo. Always someone at reception. We felt really welcomed and safe here.

    Brilliant stay in the heart of Puebla. This small historic hotel has been completely renovated. Our room overlooked the street and the cathedral and we were very, very happy with the price given the location. The bed was super comfortable and the room was large. The aircon worked well and the shower was the best we had in Mexico
