The town is very picturesque, but it is NOT the most...
The town is very picturesque, but it is NOT the most beautiful village in Mexico, as many claim it is ...the restaurant scene is not great ..stick to simple standard dishes that everyone makes ...the hills and vertiginous streets are awfully wearing and tiresome ..local transport is lacking, I found myself taking taxis for very short distances ..got lost on dark streets at night, streets just end nowhere ...quite frightening if alone. poor lighting outside centro and cobblestone streets are ruinous to shoes (and CARS) the SUNDAY market day is very hectic, but great PHOTO ops! and I did see the Valodores which was great .... would not go back ...once was fine ...looks like a very hard place to live ...and it is isolated ..not very good tourism info locally maps and lit. lackingGuest review byJefferyMexico - 10.0

Stayed for one night/day and regret it. Wish I would have stayed a minimum of 3 days to take in more scenery, enjoy the purblo, food, and things to do. It is nicely done up in a designer way and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We were contacted by WhatsApp before our arrival and asked if we needed any help with tours and sightseeing.
