It was my second holiday in Maldives and first time on an island with locals. I enjoyed 10 times more this experience than my first one. Everything was better than expected. We had such a wonderful time at Alimas. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. all the staff is amazing , they all are already missed. They paid attention for every detail for us to feel comfortable. the food is delicious , thank you chef for our amazing meals and for the lobster night. Thank you Hussain for the amazing boat trips and all the stories about Maldivian life, people like you keep Maldives alive and beautiful! Thanks to all the locals for making our staying wonderful. Just few steps away there is the bikini beach with sun beds. everyday Alimas took care for us to have clean beach towels and equipment for snorkeling. We were a big group of friends and divided in different accommodation on the island and they were very disappointed about their guesthouse bad management so we were so lucky staying at Alimas and having Raffael as manager and taking care of everything. I definitely recommend Alimas!

We enjoy the vibe of the place, the authenticity of it. The Inn was very cozy, the owner Mr. Rauf was more than kind, he welcomed us and gave us all the necessary information about the island, provided us with equipment for snorkeling and he also cooked an absolutely delicious dinner for us. We are very grateful that we had the chance to stay with you, it was the first maldivian experience. The island is small, but with a lot of magic and the people from it are very kind.

The room was nice, spacious and clean with very comfortable bed. I had everything I needed. Location was also great, couple of minutes from bikini beach. And special thanks for my Maldivian breakfast, it was simple but best I had in other accommodations on other islands.

Waaauuuu 😎 The Best guest house on Maldives 🤩 We was on several islands and this was the best guest house for us 💃🏼🕺🏻 We had breakfast lunch and dinner included and all meals was perfect 💯🔝✅ Staff is very pleasant and always ready to help you! We just came back home and wondering from where to start this review. Rattehi Inn at Rakeedhoo absolutely went above all our expectations. New hotel with best staff and management who treat you like a family member. Hotel manager Niya lives the hospitality and will accommodate every request you ask. I hope we were not too demanding but literally what we asked it happened, from the tours off the island, special celebrations, additional dining options, everything. Menu in the restaurant is not long at the moment since they just started but we heard about plans to extend it a bit. Nevertheless, all meals prepared by the chef were wonderful. Buffet breakfast great as well every morning. Waiters Daminder and Eric and Houskeeper Baboo are kindest people we met, hard workers but always with sincere smile. Island by itself is the smallest inhabited in all Maldives, however there are a lot of options around and we are already making plans when we come back what to do. For the end if you are checking pictures of other islands, reading experiences of other people about Maldives or having any doubts just stop, nothing can be compared what Niya and his team can do here to make your vacation wonderful and make you sad on departure day, but with strong wish to come back again. So my friends, thank you a lot once again, and all the best until next meeting. Rada, Sanja, Boris and Nenad.

We had a fantastic stay in Vaagali Inn guest house! Interior is nice, rooms are clean and fresh. Beach is the best in Vaavu atoll! Snorkeling is amazing! The owner of guesthouse Ibbe is very friendly and helpful. We could not leave island due to Eid holiday, so he gave us 1 night for free. Its so nice!

The sunset villa was the correct choice for me - got to see...

The sunset villa was the correct choice for me - got to see one fabulous sunset in the 4 days (in late October) I was there. There is no shading umbrella on the deck so it gets very hot in the afternoon. The room was amply spacious for a couple - watch the two steps down to the bed area, esp if you need to get up in the middle of the night. Lighting was good, AC was not as effective as I'd like (very high ceilings). Toilet is a separate room with the window permanently open (understandable), but it's extremely hot and stuffy in there. They need to place a small fan to circulate the air. Two life jackets in the room for average sized bodies (was a big large for my AU12 size female body). 4 bottles of drinking water per day supplied. The white beach areas were amazingly clean and swept daily. Food isn't that important to me and I'm allergic to alcohol, so all I can say is that the breakfast and themed dinner buffets included in my half board was plentiful and tasty. I think having the half board was the correct choice as a lunch and dinner package in the cafe was USD$195. I'd read that extra activities is expensive - I can definitely confirm that! If you arrive during the day, I'd highly recommend the seaplane transfer - amazing views of the resort (and others) and at 30mins, it is much faster and less bumpy than the 90min boat transfer. The Snorkelling was good but not amazing (I didn't fo out on a separate activity- just from my villa). Fish plentiful and some colorful, a bonus baby shark swam past me. Coral dull in colour.

Lovely island that can be walked around in 20-30 mins. Great sandy beaches, beautiful crystal clear waters, plenty of sea life (fish, rays, turtles, reef sharks etc) that all can be observed from the beach or from your over-water bungalow. One side of the island looks out to open sea and the other side of the islands looks towards neighboring islands in the same atoll. The walk from the room to the reception area or the restaurant or the dive shop are all 5-10 mins (but some rooms are much closer to the facilities such as the beach bungalows). Our room was 501 which was one of the Pool Suites. There are 4 pool suites in total. Room 501 has access to the snorkeling reef and at low tide you can enjoy your own private swimming pool. The staff said that Room 501 was the best of the Pool Suites so ask for this room specifically. The restaurant has an amazing selection of food from many different cultures (Indian, Sri Lankan, Maldives, Japanese, Korean, western cuisine...) and always an abundance of fresh produce, fruits, salads. If you take up the All Inclusive dining package then all meals and drinks - even cocktails by the pool - are included. Also included the mini bar in your room however this is only restocked daily. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to help. The room was cleaned daily and the pool was cleaned every 2nd day. What I really appreciated was the pool cleaner asking me if I wanted to add chlorine to the pool. I opted to NOT add chlorine as the pool water flows over the infinity edge into the reef. Having the pool vacuumed every 2nd day was also not necessary but the staff were happy to assist and wanted to make sure you had a great stay. We visited Velifushi in April 2024 which was lovely weather around 32 Deg C. We had a few brief storms that lasted no more than 10 mins during the early hours of the morning but the daytimes were great weather. Highly recommend Velifushi to you.
