Rather than a luxurious, tourist-heavy resort island, Kihaadhoo is a local island with a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. The islanders are incredibly kind, and everyone greeted me with a welcoming smile. A stroll through the village streets gave me a glimpse into their way of life and culture. ​The hotel room was very satisfying, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, a spacious bathroom with plenty of natural light, and fast Wi-Fi. The serene setting, surrounded by large trees and beautiful flowers, was wonderful. Sitting in a chair in the courtyard, I could relax to the sound of birds chirping and a pleasant breeze from the sea. ​Of course, I enjoyed the beautiful underwater world of the reef, filled with pretty fish, including cute clownfish, and sea turtles. ​The owner, Mohamed, was very polite and helped make my stay enjoyable and memorable. The restaurant chef was also kind, cooking the fish I caught and preparing a variety of delicious local dishes. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for place with outstanding Malidivian hospitality. ​The owner's motto, "Arrive as a guest, leave as a friend," truly came to life. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful island where I made so many friends.

This hotel is by far my best experience in the Maldives. Everything was well thought, smooth and centered around genuine connection. All the staff members without exception are super welcoming and always attentive, from the booking to the transfer to the actual stay. It gives the unique atmosphere of being at home. They have organized everything so smoothly. The hotel activities and excursions are custom made and offer a private and privileged experience. The crew knows the area by heart and gives so many insights on the wildlife. The rooms are very spacious, super clean and with amazing views. The breakfast changes everyday and is very fresh. The hotel restaurant is also amazing and very affordable. The private beach is the best of the island and the reef is very vivid for snorkeling. Overall, the experience is unforgettable and gives the perfect blend of local but also soothing.

This place allow you to live in the beach all day. The room is in front of the bikini beach. We had the Christmas dinner on the sand and a lot of lunches there. Food is good, buffet at breakfast is very yummy, prices are reasonable. The location is very nice and clean, the staff is kind and always with you to help. The room is cleaned every morning and they gave you water, shampoo, lotion for the body. If needed they can give you fins, masks and snorkel. We joined the excursion “snorkelling and sandbank” and it was very well organised. We saw a lot of turtles during the snorkelling and we had a good lunch in the sandbank for 45 $ per person. I strongly recommend this place.

The central garden creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for dining and unwinding. The modern, stylish design gives it an upmarket resort feel at an affordable price. 🚤 Easy Transfers & Convenient Location ✈️ Shihab arranged a speedboat transfer for us and personally picked us up from the harbour. Dharavandhoo also has its own airport, with 25-minute flights from Malé, making travel effortless. We took the speedboat in and flew back—both organised flawlessly by Shihab. 🌊A Paradise for Marine Lovers🐢🦈 The island is near Hanifaru Bay, where majestic manta rays gather seasonally, and close to a whale shark hotspot. We really enjoyed staying here. It was a good choice, and we met amazingly friendly people, experience that totally missed afterwards, when we went to an island resort. In this place we found the possibility of experiencing more of Maldivian lifestyle, try local food, and got nice affordable trips for the sand banks and the coral garden. We learned so much from the team of this hotel, they were so passionate about the beauty of the nature, and they were eager to share with us, we truly want to return someday.

From the moment we arrived the whole experience at Reethi was wonderful… superb Maldivian style room right in the beach and an amazing house reef steps from the shore we saw turtles , Wray’s, sharks and so many fish … our 5 th trip to the Maldives and Reethi had the best house reef we have seen . Staff all very helpful nothing too much trouble , food excellent … we will be back !!!
