We stayed at the hotel for 11 days in November 2025. We arrived at 9 AM, were immediately invited to breakfast and treated with genuine care. By 11 AM both of our rooms were ready. The rooms were very good overall; only minor wear was noticeable in the bathrooms. We stayed in ocean-front rooms with terraces, literally the first line from the shore, about 50 meters to the beach. Simply fantastic. No complaints regarding in-room equipment or amenities. The sea is wonderful, the beach is clean, well maintained, and pleasantly calm — no one bothers you. Sunbeds and loungers are plentiful, and outdoor showers are available in multiple spots. The hotel pool is well designed, with both a children’s area and a deeper section for adults. There is also an aquapark with slides, which was a great addition and very well implemented. Food was consistently good. The choice is wide, everything is fresh, and even those with a picky palate will find more than enough. Bars throughout the property are more than sufficient, so refreshments are always within reach. We were departing late in the evening and had to check out at 12. The reception staff offered us another room at no cost so we could stay comfortable until departure. The team at the front desk deserves special mention: attentive, responsive, and professional. You always feel that your needs and requests matter. In short, an excellent stay. We would happily return.

The hotel is on the stunning Belle Mare beach with its long stretch of soft white sand, this boutique hotel offers a perfect mix of romance, calm, and comfort. The atmosphere was peaceful and beautifully designed—especially the beach area, where palm trees and charming smaller trees offered just the right amount of shade over the sunbeds. What truly made our stay exceptional was the service. The staff were genuinely the friendliest we’ve ever encountered, always attentive and incredibly personal in their approach. They remembered the smallest details of our preferences, which made us feel seen and cared for throughout the stay. We especially want to highlight Sylvana, who welcomed us every morning with the warmest smile. She made sure our usual breakfast order was taken care of without us needing to ask—she is very thoughtful, kind and attentive. A big shoutout also goes to Thierry, the beach boy, who was full of positive energy and so helpful. He took care of everything by the beach with the highest standards, making our days by the beach feel relaxed and carefree. Due to an electrical issue in our original room, we were generously upgraded to the Presidential Sea View Suite. This kind gesture by the hotel manager meant a lot to us—especially since we were celebrating our engagement. The upgrade made our stay even more memorable and romantic. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the common areas were tastefully decorated, reflecting the boutique feel of the place. Everything was done with care and style. Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

A very nice place to stay right on the beach. Had half board the food was good. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Tours were reasonable priced. Hotel was a very affordable and good value for money.

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

This is the friendliest, loveliest hotel. Great location on the beach, good facilities and a superb staff. The hotel is small and cosy. The staff goes above and beyond ( Daren, Sylvana, Thierry, Ram etc etc). I love the hammocks outside the suites. The hotel is quiet ( no constant music) and friendly. The gym is very well equipped.
