A very warm and welcoming place to stay. The staff were very friendly and service minded. Very relaxing with all-inclusive. Good standard of food in the restaurant and great cocktails in the bar by the pool. Access to free activities such as snorkelling, glass bottom boat trips and pedal boats was very much appreciated by the whole family.

Our stay in this hotel was perfect from the very beginning. As we arrived the stuff welcomed us very friendly, we got an delicious welcome-drink. The hotel and it’s area are great, with charm, super concept. rooms are spacious and nice with some suprises :) they are daily cleaned (actually twice a day), house-keeping team is helpfull and friendly. Restaurant, library with multi-languague books, albums and some games, little butique - everything lovely. The view is so beautiful, you can enjoy your meals in restaurant and adore the ocean-view. Beach ist quiet, the hotel offers some free attractions (kayak, SUB-board, snorkeling, glassboat) - the guys in a stuff are always helpful :) Restaurant ist special, menu is so delicious, we loved a food! But! What makes it so special? Stuff. You feel like you spend time with your best friends, Team is so warm, always smiling! Thank you for this special time - Sanjay, Med, Vidusha, Sarika, Bhishay, Rajiv, Kheertee and all Others. You were all amazing, you made our stay in Mauritius special.     Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat...

    Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

    A very nice place to stay right on the beach. Had half board the food was good. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Tours were reasonable priced. Hotel was a very affordable and good value for money.

    Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...

    Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

    Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed.

    Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. A small complaint about housekeeping was immediately attended to and a bottle of champagne was offered as a gift.

    Tree Lodge provides a special experience - it is located in a very nice garden with a lot of flowers next to a swimming pool. Owners have been very kind and immediately responded to every wish we had. Breakfast was really delicious - fresh fruit, fruit juice, eggs or omelets, toast with butter and jam, etc. Really high quality. Lodge is located close to Belle mare, one of the nicest beaches in Mauritius. Ben (owner) is also an instructor in a Dive center (Dive passion) on Belle mare and it was a great experience to go with him for diving.

    we had the best holiday ever! Hotel is beautiful, picture perfect location, beach, pool area. stuff is extraordinary, always smiling and very helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean, minibar filled daily, including fresh water. Our cleaning lady Nirmala left always flowers on the bed, we found a nice touch. Restaurants are great, amazing quality and variety of foods and drinks. Especially 5* dessert varieties every dinner time in the Indigo! Definitely will go back on day!

    The Hotel was beautiful with beautiful sea views from the room. The staff were extremely friendly and did their best to keep their guests comfortable. It's awesome for a solo traveller. The all inclusive package is also great. Great value for money.
