I wish I could rate 20 out of 10, such amazing was this place! Burgeoning colourful little coral reef just some 20 meters from the beach, own hotel minizoo feat friendly giant tortoises, horses, rabbits...,, own boathouse offering free kayaks,,, plus complimentary electric taxis within 25 ha resort premises, amazing food, luxury room... Very nice detail which I did appreciated was the departure lounge: after check-out you can wait by the pool for your transfer and then use shower in the lounge. Everything really beyond expectations!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary over a weekend in the Luxury Oceanfront Pool Suite, and we were absolutely blown away by the entire experience! From the moment we stepped foot in this place, we were treated like royalty, and every detail of our stay was nothing short of perfection. We were warmly greeted by the hotel staff, and the entire check-in process was efficient and seamless. Our Suite was as shown in the pictures, full privacy and complete with mini-hammam and hand-crafted stone tub. Although we initially encountered a small technical issue with our heated pool, it's worth noting that the hotel's management handled it with the utmost professionalism and attentiveness (especially Kiran & his team) - we were switched to another Suite with the same config. To top it up, the general manager went the extra mile and set up a romantic dinner under a beautifully adorned kiosk for us - food was exquisite, full of flavours, and nicely balanced! And all dinners were offered to us free of charge during the whole of our stay! We were also offered a cake for our anniversary. Special thanks to Kiran and the entire reception desk team (and waiters + chefs) for their constant assistance and genuine care. They made us feel like cherished guests throughout our stay, and their attention to detail truly made a difference. We'll be back :)

My wife and i have been 12 nights in this hotel and i must say that everything was excellent, from the appearance of the hotel, which is more beautiful than in the pictures, the beautiful clean swimming pool, the cleanliness of the rooms, the breakfast that you can choose from 12 excellent dishes, the staff (I must especially praise the waiters and cocktail masters and especially Cedrick and the gentleman who works before noon in the parking lot). . All recommendations for the hotel, we will definitely come back again!

Balaclava is not the most lively part of Mauritius which...

Balaclava is not the most lively part of Mauritius which suited us perfectly. It consists mostly of vegetable fields, forests and small hamlets. The coast is getting developed with hotels but each is keeping its space so it doesn't feel crowded. You need to rent a car or get a taxi to visit the nearest town, Pamplemousses. There you have the old sugar factory, botanical gardens and a very pleasant shopping mall with a food supermarket.

Although it was very hot and humid but there always was a...

Although it was very hot and humid but there always was a cooling breeze along the coast. Couldn`t fault the staff, always very friendly an helpful and the room service was excellent, clean and efficient. We were not a young couple (in out 70s and 80s) and preferred to stay and enjoy the restful facilities of the resort. We could see that young couples with children were having a good time and were more likely to travel around the island in the heat.

Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere.

Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere. We were fine with a good dinner and the occasional musician but some might find it boring. We used a driver but if not then you’d need a car to get round the island. It was cyclone season so mixed weather but in general the North of the island has drier sunnier weather than the South.

wonderful and chearful resort design, I liked it so much.

wonderful and chearful resort design, I liked it so much. there are free and paid activities it is very good for families. 12 minutes from seewoosagur ramgoolam botanic garden and 15 minutes from port luis by taxi. there are 2 resturants and bar on the beach, there is delicious hot snack bufffet ( 4 - 5 pm).

Very attractive hotel, makes a very good impression, committed and friendly staff. The HB option is perfect because unfortunately there is no town or restaurant in the area. The beach is pleasant, although not as beautiful as others on the island.

The Location and setup of the hotel is beautiful, perfect for sunsets and a luxurious holiday. but that is where the good experience stop.
