A special thank you to Jafar at the reception, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and went out of his way to help us throughout our stay. While I had a little trouble getting in, the location and the very friendly welcome were amazing. The room was lovely, it had everything I needed and was a really high standard with a super comfy bed. The ensuite was huge and again, really high standard stuff. There was a little courtyard area that caught the sun and was really nice for relaxing. Only about 10 second walk from the bus, some amazing restaurants and shops and Mdina fortress. Would definitely try and stay here again.

Great place in the center of Rabat, very close to Mdina, around 5 minutes by walk. Rooms are well equipped with everything what you need for you stay and very delicious breakfasts are provided. Very good location...central for travelling to other areas of Malta. Unfortunately, the 'new' bus service and its timetable do not share the same planet!! Rabat has an excellent selection of cafés and restaurants.

A beautiful place to stay.

A beautiful place to stay. Full of old Maltese charm and culture. Many restaurants with a special shout to Romans Den where the food and ambiance is amazing. Also within walking distance of Mdina and its rich cultural flavour and horse and carriage rides starting from 35 euro. Access across to other towns and cities is available from the bus terminus where you can purchase a five day travel pass for 20 euro Uber / Bolt are of plenty across the island also.

The buildings are lovely.

The buildings are lovely. There's plenty of places to eat and local sightseeing. The only thing I would comment on is that there aren't any large shops(that we came across, anyway). Lots of small convenience stores and bakeries but only the basics. If you have hired a car or don't mind getting buses to bigger shops then it's a non issue. It wasn't a huge deal anyway, we really enjoyed our stay.

Rabat is a fascinating city.

Rabat is a fascinating city. Make sure you visit Mdina; the catacombs; St Paul’s Grotto; & Domus Romana. Stay at Rabat and it’s an easy walk to the old city of Mdina. It’s lovely to walk around on a balmy summer’s evening - a magical place.

Rabat was a pleasant surprise .

Rabat was a pleasant surprise . It was very pleasant to wander the lanes of the old town , lots of nooks and crannies. Plenty of places to eat and drink , all types , also little shops that you could miss if no time to explore. Locals very friendly and helpful. The place is well serviced by public transport to all other areas of Malta, making it a good place to stay away from the busy crowds of Summer.

A completely different side to Malta from Valletta.

A completely different side to Malta from Valletta. Rabat's main attraction will always be its proximity to Mdina, but there is plenty to enjoy in the town, including some great pastries and restaurants and the fascinating underground shelters and catacombs. It is also the best place to stay to get to Hagar Qim and Dingli. Definitely don't miss Publius Parruccan Confectionery.

The location was perfect for exploring both Rabat and Mdina within walking distance to just about everything. The house was incredibly unique and well restored with so many small details that really need to be seen to appreciate. We had everything we needed, including dish washer, washing machine and dryer. The beds were comfortable with lovely linen that made for an excellent nights sleep. Kitchen was well equiped if you wanted to dine in but also so many great restaurants near by to choose from.

Loved this hotel. Breakfast was amazing. My sister is lactose intolerant and we eat halal only but there was plenty vegan and veggie options for breakfast which they cooked fresh for you there and then. Including vegan sausages btw 🙈 would definitely recommend, location was great with bus stop round the corner. Cute little cafes and shops. Had a room with a balcony which was great because rabat is so scenic. Staff are so kind and friendly. Highly recommended

A beautiful boutique in the center of Rabat. The hotel and room were done beautifully with a great love for detail. Location was great, in the absolute center of Rabat and so 10min walk from Mdina. Breakfast and dinner spots right next door. Parking is a challenge on Sundays and public holidays! Owner was very attentive and brought us more drinking water right away when requested.
