We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and beautiful and we had our private terrace by the pool. The breakfast was very delicious and it was a good surprise to have a restaurant on site, and especially of that standard. Thank you also to the owner Glenn who accommodated us despite our check-in constraints. We really appreciated it.

It's very nice restored old maltese building with a climatic atmospherein the central Square of a village. Quied place to stay and rest, especially in comparision with the Malta Island. The bus stop vory close.

We went to Gozo for our celebrations and we couldn’t choose a better hotel other than Santa Lucija! We acknowledge the staff about our visit and we had a very nice room for us with a bathtub and Prosecco! Thank you so so so much! Irene and Natalia at reception were very kind and helpful The facilities are lovely and when the indoor pool is finished I bet it will excel the experience Thank you for all the staff! Will come again for sure :)

Jason and his team are all very professional. Everything was really wonderful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The receptionist gave us a lot of information about things to see locally and places to eat, even all the bus information for getting around the Island. The location was perfect, and even though it's in the center of town we didn't hear a thing in our room. The staff were all super helpful and friendly and the room was perfect with everything we needed to hand. The breakfast is also outstanding with a huge buffet that changed every day (a special Thank you to the lady who serves the tea/coffee as she is a gem and gives service with a smile real meaning)

    Qala is a quite village with vibrant nights in summer. There are some local bars and restaurants which are open daily during the day and night. It's just up the road from the Mgarr harbour, and close to Nadur, Xaghra, and Victoria. You need to pass through Qala to go through Hondoq bay, which is very popular with the locals and tourists.

    Great little village in Gozo .

    Great little village in Gozo . Place has a real countryside charm . Amazing coastline views. Town centre serviced with some charming little bistros serving traditional food . Also a very large and attractive lively church . In the cooler months there are lots of good hiking trails , into the hills and down to the beach . Bus services to other parts of island , running on the hour , plenty of taxis etc if you need to get around without car.

    Qala is a small Gozitan village with very good eateries...

    Qala is a small Gozitan village with very good eateries right in it's center and breathtaking views and beaches. It just takes a couple of minutes to drive there from the ferry terminal of Mgarr and stands at only 4-5 kilometers from the vibrant capital Victoria.

    A quiet, lovely village.

    A quiet, lovely village. It's really small but there are 3 very nice restaurants. We hired E bikes and rode all over Gozo, we tried to go to as many beaches as we could, and it was a great experience. The locals are welcoming and helpful and we were lucky with the weather, what's there not to like :)

    Qala is a charming and authentic Gozitan village, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, even during busy periods in Gozo. With its traditional limestone buildings and peaceful atmosphere it offers a true taste of island life. The village square has some great dining options, and its proximity to Hondoq ir-Rummien beach makes it an excellent base for exploring the island.

    The accommodation was in a nice street, in a nice house.

    The accommodation was in a nice street, in a nice house. Although I didn't meet the host, everything was easy to understand, a key with my name was waiting in an envelope at the front door. I liked the authentic architecture and furniture of the house. I enjoyed that everything was thought of in the common areas, there was even a washing machine. Perfect cleanliness.

    Kasia the owner is a little bowl of energy, always trying to make you feel good, always cleaning and offering new towels or change of sheets. I really enjoyed our talks as well. The room was clean and spacious, with tea, coffee, kettle, shower gel, bottles of water, a little fridge, tv, a bath and a balcony with chairs and table. Fantastic! Qala is a very nice little town with some nice restaurants ( ta vestru, d bar, and the exceptional Mulino ) and little shops if you want to do some groceries.

    Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Spacious shower and private bathroom. Good breakfast available with cereal, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, sweets and cooked breakfast too. Very nice breakfast room with plenty of interesting antique items on display in what used to be a barn. Loved the pool area which was a nice refreshment from the very hot weather. Would surely consider staying again. Accommodation is close to Qala centre too.

    Clean, cozy, comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Wide view, very beautiful. Traveling only by public buses, Qala has a very good access (to the ferry or to Victoria) the host is very nice and helpful. Perfect place, nice neighborhood, very quiet. WiFi worked perfectly good water pressure, nicely hot water Comfortable beds
