Every inch of the space exudes elegance, from the carefully preserved 150-year-old architectural details, including the charming "garigor" staircase, to the incredible collection of original contemporary art—some of which were created by the host herself. The attention to detail is simply unmatched, making this boutique hotel a true hidden gem. A Room That Redefines Five-Star Luxury The moment I opened the door to my room, I was blown away by the level of luxury. The bedding and linens were absolute perfection, soft and crisp, making for an incredibly restful night’s sleep. The pillow menu was a particularly thoughtful touch, ensuring that every guest finds their perfect level of comfort. The room was designed with true five-star indulgence in mind—a fully stocked mini-bar, an impressive wine menu, and a sleek coffee station complete with a high-end coffee machine ensured I had everything I needed at my fingertips. The bathrobes and slippers added a touch of luxury, and the in-room safe provided extra peace of mind. Every little detail had been carefully considered to create an experience that rivals the best five-star hotels in the world. A Breakfast Worth Waking Up For Morning at Howard House Hotel is nothing short of a treat. Fantastic stay. Excellent hotel, clean, tidy, well-equipped. Such a comfortable bed and room was cleaned every day. Terrific facilities with food at the bar throughout the day, spectacular views at breakfast in the restaurant. A gym and wellness centre all accessible as part of the price, which at this time of the year was amazing. Such a beautiful city with amazing buildings within the medieval old capitol. It's busy with tourists during the day and would highly recommend returning in the evening when it's so eerily quiet, but amazing. We ate in a rooftop restaurant, The Knights Kitchen so we could see the amazing sunset over Mdina. There are horse and carts to take you around, but we walked and enjoyed the tiny alleyways. We visited on a Sunday which felt very special. We were able to wander round and barely see anyone else, truly a step back in time. We ate at Coogis in the evening , which was delicious and thoroughly recommend. A treat to visit the town when so quiet

A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within...

A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within the walls of the city for the nighttime experience. It became the silent city. not a lot to see, but what is there was interesting. Rabat is literally a short walk across a pedestrian friendly bridge with lots of activity. Certainly Mdina is worth a visit.

I've never stayed in a hotel quite like this one. It was scenic and very regal within the Palace. The surrounding area is breathtaking. You can't help but want to learn all about the history of Malta. We thoroughly enjoyed that our room was set over 2 floors. It made it that much special. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. The best hot chocolate I've ever had.

Perfect location to reach by bus or taxi and you couldnt ask for a better spot to be to visit Mdina's old city and surrounds. Whilst only booked for 1 night the friendly owner and host Mariella was very helpful and accommodating. Great continental breakfast and outstanding terrace to chill out on before we had to leave. Boutique style hotel exudes class and sophistication.

This hotel is amazing, such fantastic quality for the price we paid. The breakfast was nice and staff so helpful. The location could not have been better and we enjoyed the rooftop hot tub..We hope to return.

Great location, right in the enter of the old city of Mdina. the house was very spacious with had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. A full sized refrigerator was definitely a plus.
