Palazzo Bifora was a beautiful surprise upon arrival. We were made to feel so welcome. Greeted with ice cold Kinnies and given a tour of the hotel once we arrived. The staff were all so lovely and accommodating. The rooms are heaven. The rooftop restaurant and rooftop pool were something to behold. Wonderful atmosphere. If you are visiting Mdina, you must stay here. You won't regret it.

This is the review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "A perfect stay, and I can’t wait to return!" From the moment I stepped into Howard House Hotel, I knew this was going to be a very special stay. Every inch of the space exudes elegance, from the carefully preserved 150-year-old architectural details, including the charming "garigor" staircase, to the incredible collection of original contemporary art—some of which were created by the host herself. The attention to detail is simply unmatched, making this boutique hotel a true hidden gem. A Room That Redefines Five-Star Luxury The moment I opened the door to my room, I was blown away by the level of luxury. The bedding and linens were absolute perfection, soft and crisp, making for an incredibly restful night’s sleep. The pillow menu was a particularly thoughtful touch, ensuring that every guest finds their perfect level of comfort. The room was designed with true five-star indulgence in mind—a fully stocked mini-bar, an impressive wine menu, and a sleek coffee station complete with a high-end coffee machine ensured I had everything I needed at my fingertips. The bathrobes and slippers added a touch of luxury, and the in-room safe provided extra peace of mind. Every little detail had been carefully considered to create an experience that rivals the best five-star hotels in the world. A Breakfast Worth Waking Up For Morning at Howard House Hotel is nothing short of a treat. The warm, inviting atmosphere made breakfast feel like an intimate experience rather than just another hotel meal. The beautifully presented buffet offered a variety of hot and cold savory delights, all fresh and of the highest quality. I particularly loved the made-to-order eggs, prepared exactly to my preference, and the freshly baked croissants, which were warm, flaky, and utterly delicious. This is an excellent house- one of the best I ever booked in Malta! Not only is the old Palazzo beautifully renovated but the equipment is just excellent! They even have a water filter system so you don’t need to buy water in the plastic bottles…!! Kitchen has everything you need, the bedrooms are spacious, the mess comfortable! We loved this house! Also the owners were always so friendly and supportive, we could leave the luggage before check in. Thank you!

An amazing stay at an exceptional 4 star Hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly well trained, extremely welcoming and went to great lengths to explain all the facilities that the Hotel had to offer. The Hotel is to a very high standard, higher than I have found in any other 4 star hotel in Malta. My room was spacious, modern but tastefully furnished, with everything you could need. A very comfortable bed, a huge Television to watch, Tea & Coffee Making facilities, a complimentary Minibar, Robes, Towels, and Slippers if you want to go to the Spa, a Safe big enough for a Laptop (with a charging socket inside!), a desk to work at, and a modern well equipped Bathroom. The Public Areas and Bar were every comfortable and welcoming. I even went up to the roof to see the rooftop infinity pool, it looked amazing, but on a cold windy February day, I didn't try it this time! I was too busy to eat in the Hotel, but the Menu looked very good, and the restaurant has great views,

    A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within...

    A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within the walls of the city for the nighttime experience. It became the silent city. not a lot to see, but what is there was interesting. Rabat is literally a short walk across a pedestrian friendly bridge with lots of activity. Certainly Mdina is worth a visit.

    We liked the lovely warm friendly welcome from Ana! The hotel was superb, all the furnishings and fittings were of a very high standard! All the staff were excellent but Ana went out of her way to make us welcome and even set up supper for us upstairs because the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday evenings!

    The position and the ambience of the properties about the hotel made the stay interesting. The attention of the staff was considerable and the room was sufficient in size and held the wonderful pisture on the wall. Our cases were safely stored before a late take off on the last day for which thanks.
