Being on the go is a constant in my life and honestly, there is not much that can still impress me. I was amazed of how beautiful this place is! *Interior design - 10/10 It felt like a 5* boutique hotel! Great place for inspiration and photos if you are into design. *Cleanliness - 9.5/10 Deducted 0.5 points for the jacuzzi, which was a bit dirty. Malta is windy and dirt accumulates quickly. The water temperature (36 degrees) and the strong water pressure, along with the view of Medina and the sunset made it easy to no longer care about the dirt. *Staff - 10/10 Top service, the staff is paying a lot of attention to details. I was impressed of the staff's ability to not make me feel rushed in any way. Simply relaxing and pampering.

We had an unforgettable night in this beautiful palace from the 12th century, run by a wonderful couple, Omar and Sandra. They, as hosts, made us feel at home, but a home from a fairy tale. Everything is decorated with style and elegantly renovated to preserve the historical atmosphere of a palazzo. The whole space is authentic and elevated, but jet-warm and welcoming. Breakfast is for every recommendation. Perfect fresh French croissants are served, and the entire menu is carefully selected, from eggs benedict to perfect muesli and fresh juice from local oranges. Dinner is also delicious, fine dining with the chef doing his best craft, and the restaurant has a magnificent view of Mdina. We regret that we only booked one night, We are definitely coming back for more days and we will carry this magical day in our hearts forever. Warmest recommendations for Palazzo Bifora and its wonderful owners and staff.

Fantastic location right next to Mdina gates on one side, and the pretty streets of Rabat on the other side. Gorgeous roof topp with jacuzzi and a lovely view overlooking Mdina. Exceptionally welcoming and professional staff, we got a tour of the facilities and a great breakfast cooked by one of the staff, with lots of food to choose from a buffet as well. Large room and bath room with comfortable bed and lots of well scented toiletries, separate towels for shower and robe with slippers for jacuzzi, well filled mini bar, coffee maker, etc. Everything was perfectly fresh and clean.

Nice, stylish room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Convenient kitchenette. Room was overlooking a busy street but the window was 100% soundproof. Lots of useful outlets for gadgets in the room. Music in the bathroom was a nice surprise. Great shower! No designated parking space for a car, however we had no problem finding a free spot on the street near hotel.

Everything was super nice: room quality, cleanliness, breakfast. And I especially liked the helpful staff. William, who met us at the reception, was not only very nice and positive, but also suggested some great things for our short visit. Very professional :) I highly recommend the place!

Such a beautiful city with amazing buildings within the...

Such a beautiful city with amazing buildings within the medieval old capitol. It's busy with tourists during the day and would highly recommend returning in the evening when it's so eerily quiet, but amazing. We ate in a rooftop restaurant, The Knights Kitchen so we could see the amazing sunset over Mdina. There are horse and carts to take you around, but we walked and enjoyed the tiny alleyways. Stunning city

We visited on a Sunday which felt very special.

We visited on a Sunday which felt very special. We were able to wander round and barely see anyone else, truly a step back in time. We ate at Coogis in the evening , which was delicious and thoroughly recommend. A treat to visit the town when so quiet

A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within...

A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within the walls of the city for the nighttime experience. It became the silent city. not a lot to see, but what is there was interesting. Rabat is literally a short walk across a pedestrian friendly bridge with lots of activity. Certainly Mdina is worth a visit.

The property is located opposite the mdina gate and very close to the bus terminal and restaurants. The property was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. It boasts a jacuzzi and top deck with views from the roof over Mdina. Bus connections here are super easy and plentiful to Valletta and surrounding areas. Grace in particular, who prepared breakfast was wonderful and could not do enough for us. A wonderful holiday made better by the Howard House Hotel team.

Wonderful welcome from Anita, and excellent first impressions of our room and the small boutique hotel. Very personal service, lovely breakfast, and great location to access Mdina and explore Rabat. We had the ground floor room with the small courtyard, which was a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet coffee. Both members of staff were lovely and made you feel welcome.

Fabulous hotel in wonderful building right in the old city of Mdina. Very comfortable room - especially the bed. Lovely kind attentive staff. Delicious breakfast. Great communal spaces with superb views in every direction right across the island.
