Fantastic location, great walks around the local coast and excellent public transport links to the airport and Valletta, from where you can get public transport to all areas on the island. I'd recommend the walk from Marsascala to St Thomas Bay and then on to Peters Pool for a swim. Malta is a small country that can be covered using public transport but it packs a punch. If you like the buzz but want to escape to a tranquil place at the end of a busy day then this is the place to be. Plenty of good options for eating and drinking. Our favourite place to eat was the Corner View restaurant/bar and this can be backed up by the no. of locals who frequented it.
