The hotel is brand new, so the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and super clean. The staff is really kind and helpful, which is a bonus. We went there by car and despite that the hotel doesn't have a parking lot, we managed to find a spot every single time. The breakfast was good and they made sure to refill anything that was running out. We were really happy with chosing this hotel. :)

The family were so kind, the animals were also incredibly friendly! The location is fantastic (if you're driving) 5 minutes from the harbour, 20 minutes to Valetta. Can't go wrong! This family were so incredibly accommodating and kind to us during our stay. Fantastic communication, one of the few places I would genuinely come back and stay again as you can't get bored of it! We already desperately miss Oreo, Duke, Rusty & Skye! Do yourself a favour and stay with this fantastic family and their incredible rescue animals.

The room has AC which is a must have in Malta during summer. The old couple running the rental are very helpful and will give good advice, you can buy cold water bottles from them if you forgot to do in the grocery shop.

Everything was excellent. The location is great. Manuel is very kind and helpfull, ready to solve any problem or answer any question. The apartment is well equipped, with air condition in every room. It is spacious and comfortable. The bus station is right across the street from the apartment.

Not your normal seaside holiday resort. The freeport as a back drop can be a bit of a shock but is soon overlooked. The Village is quaint with ample facilities, but not the place for people looking for nightlife. Lovely. Great time had by all our family.

The town is well situated and easy to access from the airport. Buses are regular, so other parts fo the island are easily accessible. There is a small sandy bay which is great for families. They have life savers, a wheelchair ramp down to the water, water buggy and chair lift for the disabled. There is a wide, modern promenade which includes sporting and exercise facilities, a stage and restaurants dotted around this area. The restaurants hardly offer traditional/typical maltese food (burger, pasta and pizza was the on offer everywhere) and the night life is non existent. The available facilities are not used to their full potentional sadly.

We live on Gozo and carry Malta Resident ID cards but do truly enjoy visiting Birzebbuga two or three times a year , It is close to the Malta International Airport but has a more Maltese feel that many other tourist destinations on the Island. Excellent restaurants, safe beaches and easy access to Valletta and many spectacular historic locations. However if you are reading this with the intent of visiting the Maltese Islands, do also try to visit our own home Island of Gozo, It is very different from Malta,

It's a typical little Maltese town.

It's a typical little Maltese town. We found it interesting watching the cargo ships being loaded. No big supermarkets but lots of little shops. Covo ,Dar is sajjied and District Five restaurants were fine dining but the other restaurants on the beach served excellent quality food.

Birżebbuġa itself is an ok place, nice walks through the...

Birżebbuġa itself is an ok place, nice walks through the park and on the beach and ie you like looking at large container ships unloading cargo, (Pretty bay is a free port) it's the place for you . The only thing I would recommend about Birżebbuġa the warm water of the beach (the beach is full of cigarette buttes and litter) and the public bus leaving Birżebbuġa (it's only 2.50 euro anywhere and you can use the same ticket within 2 hours on any public bus) You may enjoy Birżebbuġa because it has a beach there aren't many sandy beaches in Malta. I do not give Pretty Bay apartments as good a rating as Booking.com it's a lot worse.

The whole island of Malta is not that big, so it doesn't realy matter in which part of island you are located. Birżebbuga is less crowded with tourists and offers long walk along the coast. It has two nice sandy beaches with clear water. There is also a playground on the Pretty bay beach.

This hotel is modern, new, and very comfortable. The room looked exactly like the photos I saw, and it was cleaned every day. Breakfast was my favorite part - there’s a barista who makes delicious coffee. Right across from the hotel, there’s a beautiful beach with clear blue water. You can even rent a spot under an umbrella for the whole day. The hotel staff were polite, kind, and helpful. Our stay was fantastic!

Both Birzebbuga and this amazing house were very pleasant surprises to us, as longtime Malta visitors/residents. The town is very close to a few less touristy beaches and to the airport, and it's an enormous house, not a studio at all - complete with balcony, 2 showers and toilets and a spacious living space! And our host was always available for all our little questions.
