Our stay at Katamare Hotel was fabulous. It is a really beautiful and well-designed hotel that exeeded our expectations from start to finish; and its friendly and thoughtful staff (with special mention for the Food & Beverages Manager) from Reception to the cleaning team, truly went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is located right on the beach and has its own section for hotel guests. The restaurant was great, with some very lovingly prepared menus (well-priced for the quality) and the breakfast was also good. We had no issues with construction noise (mentioned in some previous reviews): for sure there are hotels being built all around, but there was no building work being done when we stayed.

We arrived pretty late to the hotel due to a late start. The staff knew us by name when we arrived and sincerely did everything they could to get us parked safely, into our room and some basic knowledge of where to go for a quick bite to eat. So helpful!

We came mid September and our experience went above our expectations, everyone was friendly. There was nothing we disliked, yes, the food prices are above the average in Budva but everything we had was quality, also is something you expect in a 5 star hotel. Perfect place to relax and unwind (in September) I bet August is a bit chaotic.

I loved everything about the Merit Starlit Hotel. The location by the sea is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the entire property feels luxurious. The hotel impressed us, even though we only stayed for one night. Everything is very new and sparkling clean. I also cannot but mention the stylish design of the interiors and rooms in the spirit of Art Deco. The staff was extremely friendly, many thanks to them all. The rooftop pool offers stunning views. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the sea and we rather like the fact that the hotel is located far from the main crowd in a fairly quiet place. What was also important for us was that the bus station is also about 15 minutes away. If we are in Budva again, we will definitely stay here again.
