It is really fantastic to experience a life in a traditional Berbere house. The hosts, two brothers, were very opened and warm. They let us meet also their family and see home. Tagini was delicious. We have a nice evening with a berberic drums. We sleep very well in a peaceful enviroment. We very much recommend this place to visit and stay. It is a place you must stop on the way to sahara.

This motel is a love's labor. It is adjacent to a 200-year old Kasbah, in the gorgeous Ziz Gorges. The landlord built it himself, with the old mud-and-straw technique with which the Kasbah itself was built. He was extremely nice, and knowledgeable of the history of the place. He gave us a guided tour of the Kasbah and the palm oasis.

We stayed in six different locations of which as a family we all remember this accommodation and the hospitality by Yusuf and his little family.

The owner shared a lot of knowledge with us about the area and we got free coffee at his cafe the next day. The woman cooked us a lovely tajine. But the best part was the children whom we played games with and danced and played Kash kash (hide and seek). We used Google Translate to talk all night and had an amazing experience.

The kasbah is an amazing building, with many rooms, gardens and a terrace. It is well maintained combining classic and modern characteristics of genuine morrocan culture. In the evening a very gifted Berber musician with an oud sang some songs.
